| Salmon season is here! And the halibut are biting on both sides of the island as well. But July and August are always prime time for Chinooks, Springs, or King: whichever term you want to use, these are the big daddies of the Salmonidae fish family. We still have some good openings in late July and August, so book now. - Mike |

The “Blue Pearl”
The Blue Pearl (named after Mike’s Grandmother,
Ida “Pearl Kelly) is a 1997 StormCraft welded aluminum fishing machine. The Pearl has a cabin with
a head, and a large back deck which is great for fishing.
This vessel has all the required safety gear, as well as Quality electronics such as radar, sounder, chartplotter/gps and vhf.

In terms of fishing gear, the Pearl has electric downriggers and quality rods and reels.
Equipped with twin Honda 90hp outboards, she is fast, stable, and reliable. This was proven in August 2007 while fishing Albacore Tuna 40+ miles off the west coast. The weather wasn’t the best, but the fishing was great and the boat performed awesome.
The “Atta Boy”
The “Atta Boy” is a 2052 Bayliner Trophy powered by a Honda 130hp outboard. This vessel is a seasoned fishing machine, and has always been considered very “fishy”. Likely due to favourable electrolysis properties, the Atta Boy regularly out fishes many other boats!
This boat is equipped with a head, as well as Quality electronics such as radar, vhf radio, chartplotter/gps and sounder. In terms fishing gear, the vessel is equipped with electric downriggers, as well as quality rods and reels.
Set up for saltwater flyfishing, the Atta Boy has a “bow pulpit” that provides a stable platform for casting to hungry salmon and rockfish.
Providing a good vantage point, anglers often witness fish chasing or striking at the fly!
This is one of the most enjoyable methods of fishing as the angler not only feels the strike, but is often able to see the fish take.
