| Salmon season is here! And the halibut are biting on both sides of the island as well. But July and August are always prime time for Chinooks, Springs, or King: whichever term you want to use, these are the big daddies of the Salmonidae fish family. We still have some good openings in late July and August, so book now. - Mike |

How to get to Port Hardy
BY MOTOR VEHICLE:
To reach Port Hardy from all points south (Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo, Seattle,
etc) take the main Island Highway from Nanaimo or Victoria. If you have time,
the older coastal Island Highway is a beautiful drive that winds along the
east coast of the Island. Follow signs directing you to Port Hardy, the largest
town on northern Vancouver Island.
